The Lantern Witness uses staged fragments and withheld exposition so each page behaves like a dimly lit set. Reading is paced by what remains off-panel as much as by what appears.
This phase uses the work as an honest placeholder for the fuller comic reader: page order and captions are present now, while zoom and spread behavior arrive later.
