Animated short document used for cinematic work-page playback.
Gestural marks advance and recede. A title card interrupts the field once, then drops away so timing can continue carrying the sequence.
Animated short for drawn gesture and timed interruption
Rae Kwon
An animated short built from drawn gesture, typographic timing, and deliberate restraint.
Director note
An animated short where drawn gesture and typographic timing carry the sequence.
Saltline Chorus builds motion from drawn gesture and typographic timing rather than from character performance. The film uses repetition, withholding, and slight misalignment so movement feels editorial instead of illustrative.
The piece belongs in Film & Motion because pacing does the real narrative work. The frame never asks the viewer to skim.
Production notes
Drawn forms were reduced until motion could be carried by timing changes rather than by narrative illustration.
